Chitwan

A river full of crocs
a canoe filled with dreams
—rowing.

Eerie silence in the jungle
an elephant riding a human
—trees strolling.

Statue of a frail man
at the central square
—in the city of rhinos.

Nagarkot

Couples
joyous
almost levitating

an ancient watch-tower
stands still
envious.

Bandipur

An old ghostly street
at the city centre
red brick Newar houses,
veils of creepers,
ever waiting for guests,
look quietly at flowing Marsyangdi

A cafe, a shop
Siddha caves at a distance
A trek to Ramkot
and a temple to see.
That's all that's left of me.
