Increíblemente triste

Susurran viejas cosas
en una caja de cartón,
y me detengo a observar
que los recuerdos también son tangibles.

De pie frente a la ventana,
veo todo aquello,
y es inevitable que broten algunas lágrimas.

Incredibly Sad

Old things whisper
inside a cardboard box,
and I stop to observe
memories
are also tangible.

Standing
in front of the window,
I see all that,
and it is inevitable
some tears well up.

This Calm, This Silence

Silence, that other lost language.
Waiting too long to say something.

What is it waiting for? The breath of the death?

How calm, how silent, how blessed.
Silent, night grows in my window.

Outside darkness is a beautiful landscape.

Suddenly the dogs bark and darkness doesn't know why.

Awaken behind these sheets,
I come in silence to tell you many things:
A mute bird taught me to sing
in a million tongues.

My favorite one is this calm, this silence.

I hope I may never miss the voice in your eyes.

Here, Now

I have the best view from the jailhouse/ this prison cell of my body.
Nobody know I am in jail/a prisoner, but they say hello and I am happy.
For a moment.

These streets take me somewhere I still don't recognize.
And I see myself there, in the same jailhouse/prison cell, in the same agony.
The first suicide is the only one, Vestrini says.
I think one is a cumulus of self suicides,
that at the end we call life.
The real suicide is the last one.
The last one.

I always travel with my face glued to the bars. Looking at it all.
Nobody is so on the lookout of one's one death as I am.
I accept the deterioration, the agony.
I accept them because I have even sung their names.
Their victories on men.
Their bitter melodies.
Their streets full with losers.
Their red skies.
Their psychosis, schizophrenia.
And I panic every time I accept defeat.
I have the best view in the world.
Here, now.
